Premium Artificial Grass Services

Project Overview
McNamara Park in Galena, Ohio needed 7,425 square feet of playground surface replaced. The natural grass had been worn down and pockmarked from years of use, and the park administrators wanted a fix that would not require regrading or re-seeding every couple of seasons. We installed Playground Grass Ultra across the whole play area.
Our Approach
A retrofit like this is mostly about working around what is already there. The play equipment stayed in place, and we had to plan seams and cuts to fit tightly around each structure without gaps kids could catch a foot on. Drainage was the other constraint. The existing ground held water in a few low spots, and we corrected that during base prep before laying anything. Playground Grass Ultra is engineered with fall-attenuation and ADA accessibility in mind, which is why it comes up whenever a public park is looking at artificial grass for playgrounds. Similar installations across our region are documented in our photo gallery.
Key Highlights
Once installed, the surface stays dry after rain within a short window, holds its color through Ohio summers, and needs no mowing or pesticide passes. For a municipal park with a fixed maintenance budget, that shift shows up quickly in the parks and rec bottom line. The equipment perimeters look clean, and the seams are placed where kids are least likely to notice them.
