Premium Artificial Grass Services

Project Overview
Riverfront Phase 2B sits at 100 3rd St. in downtown Fort Wayne, part of the ongoing riverfront redevelopment. The playground within it needed 2,565 square feet of Playground Grass Ultra. Public installations along the river bring their own challenges: drainage patterns that back up during heavy rain events, and heavy foot traffic from families visiting the whole corridor, not just a neighborhood park.
Our Approach
Base preparation is where a riverfront install either works long-term or does not. We graded and compacted with a bias toward moving water off the surface quickly, since the site sits close to the river and standing water is not something we could design around. Once the base was right, the Playground Grass Ultra system went down with tight pile height, secure seaming, and even infill distribution across all 2,565 square feet. The same standards we apply on this artificial grass for playgrounds work follow through every install in our Fort Wayne, Indiana service area.
Key Highlights
Playground Grass Ultra was engineered for exactly this scenario. A public playground has to meet fall-height standards, look presentable in a high-visibility civic setting, and hold up under weekend and after-school traffic without visible degradation. The finished surface reads as green from the pedestrian walkways, which was part of the design intent for the whole Phase 2B corridor.
