How does pet turf handle pet waste and odors?

The pet turf features a strong drainage backing that allows liquids to flow through quickly, carrying odors away rather than leaving them in the fibers, while solid waste can be easily removed and the area rinsed clean.

Is pet turf safe for dogs to play on daily?

Pet turf is built for daily, heavy pet use. The fibers recover their shape after repeated running, and the backing drains through its full surface, so the area stays usable instead of wearing into a mud path. Most pet installations see the same traffic pattern every day and the base is specified for it.

How long does pet turf installation typically take?

Most residential pet turf installations are completed within 1-2 days, depending on the area size and site conditions. This includes ground preparation, proper drainage setup, and precise turf installation for optimal performance.

What maintenance is required for pet turf after installation?

The pet turf requires minimal maintenance compared to natural grass. Regular removal of solid waste, occasional rinsing of the surface, and periodic brushing to maintain fiber orientation are typically all that's needed to keep it looking and performing its best.

Can pet turf withstand Indiana's weather conditions?

The pet turf is designed to perform excellently in all weather conditions, including Indiana's harsh winters and hot summers. The synthetic material won't freeze, become muddy, or develop bare patches, maintaining its appearance and functionality year-round.

Key Highlights

The completed pet turf installation features advanced drainage capabilities that eliminate standing water and soggy conditions regardless of weather. Drainage built into the turf fibers carries liquid away rather than holding it at the surface. The cushioned surface provides optimal comfort for pets during active play while maintaining its lush, green appearance year-round. This transformation eliminated the need for constant reseeding, fertilizing, and patch repairs that previously consumed significant time and resources.
