Playground Turf Installation at Herz-Rose Park

Herz-Rose Park near the ISU campus in Terre Haute needed a safe, durable surface solution for their busy playground area. The existing surface beneath the large jungle gym posed safety concerns and required constant maintenance, making it challenging to keep the play area in optimal condition for the many families who visit this popular community park that features playground equipment, basketball courts, shelter facilities, and restrooms. The ForeverLawn® Northeast Indiana team installed 2,145 square feet of playground turf, built for high-traffic play areas. This high-quality artificial grass for playgrounds keeps its appearance and texture through heavy use and varying weather conditions.

The transformation has created a safer, more attractive play environment that requires minimal maintenance while holding up to daily use by active children. The playground turf surface stays consistent regardless of weather conditions, ensuring that families can enjoy the park year-round. This installation demonstrates how specialized synthetic turf solutions can enhance community recreational spaces, providing long-term value through reduced maintenance costs and a more consistent surface that benefit the entire Terre Haute community.
